Top Tip: Dont argue, move on..
Normally I would agree with you but I think the OP had been charged twice for a product she actually returned then it was only taken off the bill once (if I've read correctly) in which case I would have argued as well!"You can't buy love, but you can pay heavily for it." Henry Youngman0 -

Yes, rather than taking the razor blades off she added them on for a 2nd time so I would have been charged twice for something I had given back.
If it's a nss coupon which doesn't scan then I always say don't worry and I'll take it back, but the extra points one was for something I'd actually bought and the woman was refusing as I hadn't bought the products on it when it says very obviously that it's for any toiletry or beauty products.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

My hubby will only use Sensodyne Total F toothpaste so imagine my delight when I found out that these were on offer @ 2 for £4 this time around! I planned things like a military operation and off I went.
I got:
10 x Sensodyne @ £3.15 each = £31.50 - £11.50 (2 for £4)
I then used:
2 x 2.50, 4 x 1.25, 4 x 1.25 and finally 5 x 1.00
Total to pay = £0.00
Now that is the kind of shopping that I like! LOL!!!!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -

Does anyone have any spare Quit Kits or H&B vouchers going spare? I gave away quite a few a little while back and because of this I have left myself a bit short
! Our shop has been sadly lacking for a good few weeks and I have only 2 vouchers left but there is still so much that I would really love to be able to get. I would of course send a SAE so that no one would be out of pocket and would be eternally grateful for them :A .

Boo Hoo
In the last 3 days I have been to 2 different Tescos 3 times so 6 visits. I drive past one on the work to work and one on the way home. I got some bargains tonight as the snow was quite bad and not many people were tescoingthis included bread reduced to 10p.
Unfortunately, not many young male cashiers on the tills, so I went to a more mature gentlemen. I commented that it was unusual for a more mature male cashier to be serving me and that was when the problems began
I did 2 transactions, first one he took all my h&b/quit vouchers but refused my £4 Daily Mail voucher, 2nd transaction I bought practically the same but he dithered and said due to Dept 5 he had been made aware of multiple vouchers. He was going to only accept one plax voucher against 4 plax bottles but eventually took 4 and then called the supervisor  she would only take the plax ones and one h&b voucher but not the £2.50 one  so he returned alot of my vouchers. The annoying thing was in transaction 1 he took them all
Anyway, I was glad to get home in the warm, I even managed earlier to take a picture of my garden/extension. I know it is OTT but having talked to you all about it so often it's nice to share a photo.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Tesco SAs are all so different aren't they? There is a really pleasant young man i my local Tescos. We have a laugh and he takes all my vouchers. He always says as long as they scan and the till doesn't bleep then it is OK. Never more than 25% of the bill though.
Anyway in the week i went to another SA who said she could only take 10% of my bill in vouchers. Fine says I and thought Oh well it was good while it lasted.
Next visit a few days later I spoke to the pleasant young man and said I hoped he hadn't got into trouble from my coupon use...he looked really puzzled, asked why I thought he would and proceeded to take all my h&b plus a couple of normal ones including the DM one. So not even within a store is there a standard policy.0 -
Went tesco tonight bought
a cashmier carddy £25
nice brown leather bag £20
nice bikini top for £8
also bought 4 mouthwashes.
along with a bit more shopping
total came to £83.46
had a lovely cashier he took every voucher i gave him, which was.
£10 off £50 spend the ones that run out on the 11th
£10 off £50 spend the blue ones
£7 off £35 spend the ones that run out on the 11th
£6 off a £30 shop from the quit
£6 off a £30 shop from the new clothing vouchers
£2.50 off a £10 shop h/b
£1.00 off a £4 shop h/b x2
£1.25 off a £5 spend quit x2
£1.00 off mouthwash quit x4
Making £33.46 to pay (wow)
Upon leaving i noticed that i'd been overcharged for the cardy i'd been charged £35 not £25.
Went to customer services for a r & r.
But she only gave me £10 back i queried this, but she hadn't seen all my coupons as i'd folded the receipt in half.
She said that she would have to get the manager down.
i decided against this, what with all the vouchers. So i just took the £10 so my shop came to £23.46
But i've just found out that i don't like the cardy and it doesn't fit proper.
Now what do i do.0
