well so much for watching Bonkers on tv, I have instead been working out my next 7 shops with the vouchers i won off ebay! Can anyone tell me what is the best way to use up 6 £1 healthcare ones?

Me too, my ebay H&B vouchers came today as well as some spring clothing ones, I have NEVER seen any H&B coupons in my store I think they snapped up pretty sharpish and get put on ebay...shame on them, but still I am still saving money in the long run

I think Tesco is my new obsession, I'm even dreaming of it, how sad am I now..

    Hi,

As I mentioned in my earlier post, this is my first time at trying this. I have just spent 30mins trying to work out the best way of using my vouchers and I was wondering if somebody would be so kind as to double-check for me.

(Not everything I have listed is on special offer, but some of the products I actually need so have included them where I can).

    I've got four transactions..

    Transaction 1
    Vaseline nail lotion x2
Nivea for Men shave gel x2
Tesco body and mind bath soak x2

This should come to £10.88 before BOGOFs / 2 for £2s come off and it should total £7.00 after these offers have come off. I was planning on using:
    1x £1.25 beauty quit voucher
    1x £1.25 toiletries quit voucher
    2x £1.00 toiletries H&B vouchers
    1x £2.50 H&B voucher
    2x 50pts H&B vouchers
This means that the products will be free and I get 100pts.

    Transaction 2
    Sanex foam bath x2
    Sunsilk shampoo x2
Tesco body and mind bath soak x2

This should come to £10.26 before BOGOF and £5.25 after the offers have come off. I was planning on using:
    1x £1.25 beauty quit voucher
    1x £1.25 toiletries quit voucher
    2x £1.00 toiletries H&B vouchers
    1x £2.50 H&B voucher
    1x 50pts H&B vouchers
This means that I will get £1.75 towards the rest of my shopping and I also get 50pts.

    Transaction 3
    Colgate Plax mouthwash x2
    Sanex foam bath x2

This should come to £10.70 before BOGOF and £5.35 after the offers have come off. I was planning on using:
    2x £1.00 Plax vouchers
    1x £1.25 toiletries quit voucher
    1x £1.00 toiletries H&B voucher
    1x £2.50 H&B voucher
    1x 50pts H&B vouchers
This means that I will get £1.40 towards the rest of my shopping and I also get 50pts.

    Transaction 4
    Colgate Total Plus Toothpaste x2
    Gillette razor blades x1
    Palmolive handwash x2

This should come to £10.09 before BOGOF and £5.35 after the offers have come off. I was planning on using:
    2x £0.40 Colgate vouchers
    1x £1.25 toiletries quit voucher
    1x £2.50 H&B voucher
    2x £1.25 beauty H&B voucher
    1x 50pts H&B vouchers
This means that I need to pay £1.48 and I also get 50pts.

I think this all works out OK, but the only thing I'm not sure about is what counts as "toiletries" and what counts as "beauty". For example, in transaction 4, I'm planning on using two "beauty" H&B vouchers, yet I'm only buying razor blades, toothpaste and handwash. Do these count as "beauty"?

Sorry for the long post, I just want to make sure I'm right when I go into Tesco tomorrow :o

    TIA
    Nic

P.S. I'm planning on doing fairly big shops so the toiletries get mixed in with everything else.

All looks ok to me, I had my shop broke down into 3 also all organised in my purse and everything, but when I went in today and saw SA I knew I just thought stuff it and got the lot in one! :D

The H&B vouchers will work fine with razors and toothpaste etc..

    Good luck, and happy shopping!
  • beyond belief arghhh
tesco quick kit vouchers...£1.25 off I cant believe the S****d checkout girl had to call a manager over before she'd even attempt to scan it AND i DIDNT even try and double up on anything..ARGHHH
ended up so b*ping angry when she said just wait a minute MADAM ..MADAM!!!!!
I ended up saying, do you know what...forget it...in fact forget the whole lot of shopping (which id just packed) 40 quids worth, and walked out of the store

    Hiya ,

This should work to get you more money off and extra points too :T

    Transaction 1
5 x 50 points (you get points on the total before BOGOF's are deducted)

    Transaction 2
    2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.00, 1 x 2.50 & 5 x 50 points

    Transaction 3
    2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.00, 1 x 2.50 & 5 x 50 points

    Transaction 4
    2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.25, 1 x 2.50, 2 x 40p Colgate & 5 x 50 points

If you were to buy 4 bottles of Plax together you could use:
    1 x 2.50, 2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.00, 4 x 1.00 Plax Vouchers & 5 x 50 points which would give you £7.74 credit to spend on the rest of your shopping.

I hope that this helps you out a bit

    !!!!!! happens!!!:D
  • I went shopping tonight and I did 2 transactions and bought:

    1st Transaction:
Black seedless grapes reduced to 50p, socks £3.50, nectarines reduced to 25p, 3 tins of soup for £1.20, 2 x panty liners reduced to 24p each, 2 tins of deoderant reduced to 22p each, 2 x Robinsons juice BOGOF £1.09, 4 Plax mouthwash BOGOF £11.52, 1 x Choc Weetos £1.21, Tarragon reduced to 17p.

    TOTAL = £21.99 - £7.37 Multibuy savings & £13.50 in vouchers (1 x 2.50, 2 x 1.25, 2 x 1.25, 4 x 1.00 Plax vouchers, 2 x 1.00)

    Total that I paid = £1.10

    2 Transaction:
    2 x Robinsons juice BOGOF @ 1.09, runner beans reduced to 10p, 2 x deoderant reduced to 22p each, 1 x choc weetos £1.21, 2 x Palmolive hand wash BOGOF £1.56 each, 2 x Pantene 2 for £3, 1 x Seagrass bin reduced 86p, 1 x Basil plant reduced to 10p

TOTAL = £12.19 - £3.83 Multibuy savings & £7.25 in vouchers (1 x 1.00, 1 x 1.25 & 1 x 1.25 = £3.50) My mind was on other things and I tried to scan another couple of vouchers whilst I was talking to the girl who watches over the self scan tills and when they didn't go through she automatically authorised them as she had mistakenly thought that I had bought all my shopping in the one go instead of 2 separate lots and she could see that I had definately bought enought to qualify for those ones as well!!! they came to an extra £3.75 off).

    Total to pay £1.11

So for both lots all I had to pay was £2.21 for £34.18 worth of shopping!!!

I love all this free shopping and long may it continue!:j :j :j :j :j
    !!!!!! happens!!!:D
