Thanks for the info Marvin. Though it is a little confusing a reply. Does that mean I should still be able to get my cheque or not?

Regardless their customer service is pretty shoddy, nearly a month now and no reply to their support ticket. Emails just bounce back when i try to reply... I'm not holding my breath

I was more responding to the are they still in business bit than anything else.

Pointing out they are part of a quoted company and that it is easy to see if they are still in business.

(should point out no longer have shares in company had to sell them pay the import duty on the wife! :o:)
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • Is anybody else finding problems accessing the Mutualpoints website? I've tried all weekend, but still the page seems down. Slightly concerning as I about ready to cash in my 'winnings.'

I have only been doing the emails till I get enough to cash out for the last time before leaving but I just checked myself and I cant get the site up either. If its been off all weekend its a long time. I've still had some emails sent to me though so not sure why that is
    Thanx

I've just reached my 3,000 points and cashed in and I too will be leaving. There aren't enough e-mails coming through with 5 points nowadays, I can't be doing with waiting another couple of years to reach the 3,000 mark.

Always wise to take money out cashback sites as soon as possible just in case.

There is though little chance of MP going bust it is part of a very stable much bigger company. The one prospect though is they may disinvest in the business, this means sell or close it. This is part of the legacy business that really does not fit within the current business strategy. They recently sold or closed (bits they did not sell were closed) the direct mail business that was really aligned to The Mutual and MP.

I think this part of the business is suffering from a lack of investment and drive and really do not see it being part of the business much longer.

I no longer have shares in the company as I had to sell them to pay for getting married earlier this year.

Still collecting points it costs nothing and is often in terms of free clicks not that bad, but then I think I get a lot more points mails than others seem to get. Cashed in, in Feb and over half way to another one already.

The free clicks on Imutual (nearest I can get to a match to MP) is currently due pay out in Jan 2014. The points for mails are at least added immediately.

All the above is in my humble view of course not based much on fact. :)
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
