Hi - I set up one on Sunday over the phone and they said it was remaining until end of March, but she did advise to set it up soonest!

    I opened one up today.
I asked the lady when it was ending and she wasn't sure. She seemed to think it will end as soon as they bring in a new deal, which she seemed to think would be the same or similar rate, but would only last for 1 year instead of the current 2.

It certainly shows up on the Internet banking, but I seem to recall that it took a few days to appear.

Sorry, I posted this as a new thread without looking properly.

I opened this account yesterday the 8th march with no problem having not read this info, and the lady told me that on Monday the guaranteed period was changing from two years to one.

Check it out though, I was only told by one person.

For all of those interested in these accounts, PLEASE NOTE :-

The 8% for TWO Year deal is definitely finishing on Monday 12th March, and is being replaced by an identical 8% for ONE year product only ... New leaflets are already enroute to TSB branches (My branch received theirs today).

So if you still want to take advantage of the TWO year Deal, do it ASAP !!!!!

And, Yes ... It DOES show on your online banking.

    Cheers
