    Think the difference is you fillied in the forms and signed them on Monday - I phoned Sunday and still haven't had the forms, although they were able to give me an account number and sort code.

    Their customer services rang me and said no way Jose.

    My other half rang on Saturday, no forms in post, no account to see online, nothing:(

    just seen on another regular saver thread that they had to put the money in on the same day each month, does this account require that?

    Nope, rang up yesterday. They found my partially completed details on a second system, cannot understand why I was given account number & sort code. If I want the account we have to go through the process again, or I pop into a branch.

    To top it all, my Loughborough application sent 2 weeks ago has been lost in the post.

    I'm not doing well.

    Doesnt sound like it at all. My other half has spoke to 3 people.
    1 man said if the account doesnt appear in next few days ring him back and he will sort out the 2 year deal....rang him....unavailable surprise surprise..
    2nd woman said she thinks its gone through and should be available to see online(its not)
    and 3rd woman said she thinks he may have been refused because he doesnt use his bank enough.....er well its his main bank and 2 grand a month filters in and out of it with his dds from there etc.
    Swear word inserted here.....

    does anyone know if i do a transfer to the monthly saver from the lloyds current account how long it would take to be recieved, instantly because its the same bank or like 4 days like a normal transfer
    basically want the money in there on the 1st may when do i make the payment

    Instantly. You put it in the 'Transfers' fields at the top left of the online banking screen and, as soon as you click the button, it's done.
