Make sure you reflect your feelings in feedback, but only when you have your refund and make no policy breaches.
Oh, and she will be getting a neg and 1* for everything. Do I have to wait until the dispute is resolved before I leave feedback?
As soolin says, it is better. Then make sure you block them, just in case you ever sell anything.0 -
And don't mention the dispute in feedback, they could get it removed0

Thanks - I didn't know that. I haven't heard anything back from them since the email saying they weren't prepared to let me have the boots. I'm still annoyed that because of their bad description it means that I'm going to be out of pocket to the cost of postage - yet they will be back in the position they started out at: give me £7.05 back and still have the boots! It's not fair :mad:Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
I know that it's not much consolation but she has paid for postage to you & will have to repay your entire original payment including p&p. so will have lost that amount.
I don't know why sellers try this sort of stunt, from the sound of it nobody could have described them as good condition, so she's not going to have made anything & will get low stars.0 -
Ah yes, you're right. And no, no-one would have described them as even good condition - let alone 'perfect' like she did! She only has 17 feedback so when I leave mine it will affect her fairly badly. You would think that they would offer the best resolution for the buyer, not only because it was a small amount of money, but to build up good feedback. She already left feedback for me before she posted them.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

I bought a pair of boots the other day which were described as being used but in perfect condition. They have arrived this morning and there are scuffs all over the heels, the faux leather is peeling off around the tops and down the backs, and the fronts are dented. The soles are worn so that the pattern is unrecognisable in places. I paid £3.70 for them and £3.35 postage. I have emailed the seller explaining that I am not happy with them, and she has offered to send me a payment of £1 as a gift, and wants to know if I'm happy with that decision. Well of course I'm not! I replied stating that the rips/scuffs were extensive and definitely not in keeping with perfect condition. I also stated that if they had been described correctly I would not have bid on them.
I would like to ask what sort of refund I am entitled to. Is it just the purchase price, or postage aswell?
Thanks for any hepl
or resell them as well-worn with LOTS of pictures and a tale about how you are a waitress and wear them for work;):pDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Quite right too - you had COMPLETED your end of the bargain. You sent the money. Now IF the seller who is waiting for MY feedback works that one out we can move forward...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

If she's going to sell crap she won't last long at all hopefully.
The one single item I bought that was rubbish was from a new seller, I was the first person to neg her.
She got a couple of positives after me, then all the negs started, she probably lasted about 3 months in total.0 -
Well after opening the dispute yesterday I heard nothing until she contacted me at around midnight, asking me what I would like her to do with the matter in order to resolve it. I replied that I would like a full refund of the purchase price and original postage, and said I didn't see it was fair that I should be out of pocket. I told her I had taken some pictures if she wanted to see them. She replied saying 'Hi yes if its possible you could attatch me some pictures to my email please, so i take it you wont wear the boots and u will sending the boots back if i gave you a full refund?'
I said I would not be wearing the boots and will return them to her via a trackable method on receipt of a full refund.

You should have asked her to pay for the return postage as well. If she sends the full initial refund ask for the money to send them back.0
