I was almost tempted to buy one of these beds but looking at it in more detail it's quite low to the floor and i use under my bed for a bit of storage.. but otherwise a bargain.

It's no real different from the ones that poundland and alike do for £99.

Just don't jump on it, it will break.

    Found this on ebay

Faux Leather Brown Black Double King Size Sleigh Bed (ebay# 250847588670)

They look similar and this one is £93.99 with Free delivery.

Or this one Oscar Faux Leather Bed (ebay# 220844766491). This one is £84 including postage.

If you just want a bed, any bed, these two beds can save you £16 and £26 respectively.
  • Sorry, I started another thread about this elsewhere - I got the email from Groupon as well, saying that 'due to a publication error' the deal was posted with the mattress included, but it in fact is just for the bed.

Seems the site has miraculously changed since the weekend too, to note now that the bed does not include the mattress, when it originally appeared that the bed came complete with mattress...

Are they allowed to do this, even if they offer you a refund?! I thought if you bought what was advertised (i.e. the offer for the bed complete with mattress), they had to honour that? I'm not confident in that now as they've offered me a refund.

I really need a cheap bed for my spare room, but not one that's going to break my guest's backs, so I need a reasonable one with a mattress ASAP!
  • Hi
Thought i would quickly post. We bought this on Saturday and 2 hours later the bed company changed their web page to say only included bed and not matress. Dh has rang Groupon today who told him to contact the shop and were a bit rubbish. he rang the shop and they said the matress is not included! He rang Groupon back and spoke to someone else who said they could refund him now but would advise he waited until Friday to see if Groupon could sort this out, or he may get a full refund plus groupon credit. This is just a maybe though. She basically said when the voucher goes live tomorrow and people realise they are preparing themselves for over 800 complaints!
  • has anyone else tried to redeem their Groupon voucher yet? I'm struggling to figure out how to actually order my bed!
In the absence of any clear place to enter voucher code, I added the bed to basket, and tried to enter the groupon code into the voucher box at checkout.
It informed me "This coupon code is not valid for any product currently in your cart."

It's looking like I'll have to ring them tomorrow to sort this, unless any clever forumite can point out where I'm being stupid?

That shouldn't present any problems...you'll get used to it.

    and

it's amazing what you can store under the bed isn't it ?
It's like you'd have a his n hers storage boxes for your own secret stash.....of , well , anything really ;)
