I had my hair washed, re-styled and dried this week and it cost me £29. I have been informed that because I work in the same shopping centre I could of used my staff discount card to get 20% off. I will know for next time.... I usually go every 3 months.

I have curly hair, shoulder length. She washes it, drys it and cuts. I ask her to only trim about a cm,which sounds fussy, but my hair is in pretty good condition but the last cm or so is curly in a odd way with a few split ends.. But she lobs alot off in a straight line, just below my ears. i never walk out happy. theyve done it a few times before.

Ive not had a hair cut in a year as im worried someone will mess it up. Ive got quite a roundish face, so a short cut makes me look awful. My aunt is a hair dresser and used to do my hair . If i fancied something new shed know what suites me and id like. But ive not met a hairdresser who dosnt cut too much off since.

Also, am i the only one who just dosnt really want to speak to people when i get my hair done, maybe im anti social, but i quite like just reading a mag when my hairs done, having some peace and quite-i might just be a miserable person :rotfl:

£35 in a city centre salon plus £4.00 approx to park. It's worth it because he cuts it perfectly and understands the idiosyncrasies of my hair and scalp.

I've warned him that if he ever moves, he must tell me where he's going.

It took me ages to find a hairdresser I liked, which is 1 of the main reasons I've finally gotten the long hair I've always wanted. My hairdresser runs her own business from home & only charges me £10 in total to cut mine & my daughter's hair, she will trim her fringe for free in between time's. She would only take £30 for doing my hair for my wedding, that included the rehearsal & styling my dd's & 1 bridesmaid's hair on the day. At least she let me pay for her taxi's, I don't see how she can make money at those prices.

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • I pay £10 for a dry cut, last time was 3 months ago. I only wash it once a week or so though so its in good condition for much longer and thankfully I don't yet need to colour it!

I pay £33 for wash, cut & blow dry. That's with a discount for rebooking.

I only used to go to cheap places but thought I'd treat myself one day and I'm glad I did! I've been going to the same place for nearly 2 years. It's worth it and I think you definately get what you pay for. She's a great hairdresser and even noticed when I cheated and went somewhere else. ;) And it's such a great cut I can leave it longer and longer because it's growing out without flicking all over the place, she's done herself out of some business there!

I pay £12 for a wet cut every 4-5 weeks. I take the kids there as well for a cut when they need it and I pay £7.50 for my 9 year old and £5 for my 7 year old.
