I must be going to the most expensive hairdresser ever. I can't remember how much a cut & blow dry is but with highlights it's £95:eek: I sometimes save a bit by having half highlights.
I have dreadful, thin, kinky high maintenance hair:mad: oh how I envy people with wash&go or even more the clebs with a personal hairdresser.0 -

I stock up on daily deals so I don't pay more than £20 for a wash, cut and blow dry. I live in London and can't believe people actually pay over £100 as full, standard price. Some people don't know the value of a £...0

At last I have found a hairdresser that cuts my hair how I want it and cheaply. £18.00 for wash, cut and blow dry every 5 weeks. shortish and a lot of hair.Treat other's how you like to be treated.

My hairdresser recently put his price up to £36 for a cut and blow dry, and with tip it's £40. I think it's pretty steep as I have long hair with no layers apart from a simple side fringe, and it usually only takes about 45 mins in total from start to finish (most of that time is spent drying it). When I first started seeing him it was £26, but that was about 5 years ago.
I could go with a cheaper junior at the salon - I think the cheapest are £22. However I've done this before on times when my usual guy isn't available and it's been awful... so I suppose you get what you pay for!0 -
number two all over, £4.50 once a month0

My salon charges £30 for a cut and blow dry (or in my case the very ends trimmed off) and £50 for a colour with cut and blow dry and I am just not prepared to pay this expense anymore on a monthly basis so its back to DIY hair colour at £6.00 a month and my hair in better condition to boot and a trim now and again at a walk in salon for about a fiver, trimming my own fringe inbetween, this way I get to have my hair the length I want it without being told it needs a 'good trim' every month and I am not out of pocket0

I pay £22 for a wash and cut, no need for a blow dry as my hair dries very quickly.
My hair is shortish (bob) and thick so I have to go every 6-8 weeks.0 -
