Whenever you add to your basket the weight is adjusted, view your basket, I have ordered several times from Rosspa and been pleased every time.

  • Thanks, i was comparing it to AF, where it tells you what each item weighs, so you can take that out to adjust weight, not putting order in yet, jbut some great offers on the veg are tempting me.

Yay! It arrived on time and everything is nice and fresh. Some of the raspberries and chillies were a bit mouldy, but everything was better than the supermarket.:j

1 thing to bear in mind if you are wanting farm shop quality food - the eggs appear to be from caged hens in Denmark? Even though they are large, so if British welfare standards matter to you, you may want to consider this....oh and check the eggs with the water test...we have had a bad egg so far, but that is in a batch of 20.

Hi there, I was looking at the Rosspa website last night and it looks like it could suit me better than Approved Foods (just done first order). The website says that they don't sell out of date food but is it all short-dated ?

    Thanks
  • The stuff i bought was fairly short dated, and the tomatoes did not last long, but the veg lasted a long time in fridge. If you do not like ood food, when on AF tick the box that gives the option of just food in its date.
  • It seems they're very friendly until things go wrong, then they turn VERY nasty. My 1st order had 3 picking mastakes - each one an item picked that was MUCH cheaper than what I was charged. They gave me a credit note for the difference for my next order & said they would look into why it had happened & get back to me, but never did. The duck eggs were fishy & the veg only lasted 2 days, so when I placed my 2nd order I just ordered fresh meat & tins. This was supposed to be delivered on Monday but the courier misrouted it. When I told them that there was no-one at home the net day to recieve the delivery & that I was not prepared to accept a delivery of fresh meat that had been sitting in an un-refrigerated depot for 24 hours on a hot day in June anyway, I got a very rude email saying that their term & conditions state that they can take upto 48 hours to deliver & that I was not entitled to a refund! I only got my money back by threatening to report them to Trading Standards & pointing out that regardless of their terms & conditions, they were still covered by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000,at which point they backed down very quickly! I'll be sticking tolocal shops in future, BE WARNED!

I wouldn't order from them. Why?

    (1) Basic website
    (2) No geographical address
    (3) No landline - only a 0843 number
    (4) Contact via 0843 or email form
    (5) Incorrect registrant details on whois
    The man without a signature.
  • Never had any problems with them, produce has always been excellent quality and lasted well.
