Wren Kitchens - My Review

Another Wren nightmare, been without sink or cooker since 5th January due to receiving four faulty sinks and hole in worktop too large for any of them had they been acceptable, we have had to send seventeen photographs, nine emails, eleven phone calls and nine visits to local showroom (Solihull) and still being passed from one department to another, Their websites state the wrong worktop cut out for model of sink and wren buyers put the blame on German suppliers and worktop installers while we ( Pensioners ) are left in limbo we contacted Barclays who provided interest free credit but they informed us they pay wren on receipt of goods only ?,
Does anyone out there feel that Barclays should be more pro active.0 -
Hi 3 weeks ago we got a quote from Wren, after turning down the quote as we could buy cheaper from a competitor as they had a sale on, wren offered to price match and beat by 10%. After going back and forth regarding the pricing we finally had an email from our sales advisor saying they would offer the price at £1320 they just needed a code from HO to process the order. Then last night after constantly chasing wren the manager sent us an email saying now we won’t price match. The competitors sale ended yesterday so wren are not only not supplying us the units at the price they agreed but they have prevented us buying from a competitor. Is there anything we can do? We have all the email correspondence which shows them offering the price and delaying us0

Your best bet is to go back to the competitor and see if they'll honour the sale price. Wren undoubtedly know about their sale, which is why they've delayed until it ended before changing their tune. If the competitor are willing to honour the price, go with them. If you're still negotiating prices with Wren then you're not contractually obliged to do anything with them.
If you can't get the sale price from the competitor, make it clear to Wren that their sneaky behaviour has cost them the sale regardless.0 -

Wren have not "prevented you buying from a competitor". You chose not to and tried to get the lowest possible price from Wren.
Providing you have not agreed to buy from Wren, you have been spared a lot of hassle according to the many posts on this threadIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Was that really necessary? I came on here to seek advice. Thanks to those of you who have been helpful0

It was truthful : you chose not to buy from the competitor, Wren didn't prevent you (they couldn't anyway). May not have been what you wanted to hear, but it is a fact.
It gave good advice : Buy from Wren and you'll probably get hassle. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
If someone offers you a price cheaper than somewhere else your obviously gonna go from that. Especially if your watching the pennies. Pulling the offer once the competitor finished their sale is what screwed us.0

Ultimately a sale is a load of rubbish! Even though the sale had finished, it is unlikely they would have refused you at the original price if it meant getting a sale.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Well they quoted us £3K and we said we can get a similar version for £1300 so they agreed by email to match that but had to wait for HO to give them a code to take the payment.... then they emailed a week later saying actually we can!!!8217;t match it but we can go ahead with the original £3K quote if your interested so right now we can!!!8217;t afford to buy anything but kitchen is in the middle of getting ready for install0
