WH Smith have put some jobs up on their website.
Currently trying to apply for Royal Mail job.....website being incredibly slow........make sure you search under the Angard vacancies as I couldn't find any through the standard Royal Mail search engine.0 -
Thanks for this, keeping an eye on this for a friends child who is desperate to get his foot in the door at somewhere!
Is it worth adding how you apply for these jobs to the list? Some are online and some are in-store I believe?Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
Have seen in someone's signature here "minimum wage, minimum effort" - thing is employers know they can get away with paying minimum wage, while demanding more than maximum effort.
another poster had it as her sig which prompted me to add it to mine, it was entirely true for my last job, i said yes to going out on site with a colleague to help him to jobs and i wasnt rewarded, the owner knew i made the effort as he suggested i go with the colleague to on site.Fallen8905 wrote: »But remember
A Xmas Job can Lead To a Permanent Job!!
Its possible it would lead to a permanent job but not guaranteed0 -
Of course its not garuanteed but it's better than been on benefits. I would much rather work and get min wage than sit in and watch jezza (even though it is quite funny at times). And every little thing helps£844/£22,774.31 debt to pay
£21,930.31 left to pay!:(0 -
Waterstones are starting to advertise some xmas jobs:), none near me yet though!:(0

Just managed to bag an interview at M & S after wading through the online assessment. They've quite a lot of temporary, part time positions available. Click here:

She should be able to get a Temporary NI number over the phone until the NI card gets processed.
