Tired old story about car insurance

You never know, Zurich might come up trumps, they are quite fussy when it comes to their target market so the fact that they have been most competitive until now is a good thing. How long is it until you are due for renewal?0

Give them a ring and ask for your renewal premium, most companies generate these 30 days prior to renewal. Theres no sense in worrying about it until you have the facts in front of you. If it has risen by a large amount then you can ask them to compare your premium breakdown to last years and tell you what ratings have altered, then you have a clearer idea of why and can set about trying to change what you are looking for in a policy to reflect that0

There needs to be a reality check by insurance companies, situations like this will only serve to increase the number of uninsured drivers.
There needs to be a reality check by consumers that insurers cannot keep making losses on car insurance and someone has to pay for it.
Society is the biggest problem. Far too many seem happy to break the law and commit fraud. The genuine honest individuals pay for it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Sorry Dunston, but it sounds like you came here for a fight, I guessed as much when I read your comment regarding Liverpool.0

Its a 1.4 Seat Ibiza for gods sake, insurance group 12 (which would have been about 4-5 on the old method) I can't really get any less of a car without going for a 1 litre.
According to Parkers a 1.4 Skoda Fabia (which is essentially exactly the same car as you currently have) is Group 5 - might be getting a quote for a lower grouped car and see if the overall cost-to-change makes it worthwhile.

Where did this crazy idea that insurance or lack of it, has anything to do with honesty?0 -
Got to be a 'desirability' factor then.
Still group 12 from 50 is still better than group 13 from 20, which is what the impreza was.0 -
