On the contrary, "these sort of posts" are very well received on this forum, as can be seen from the number of replies. The thing is that 'these sort of posts' generally include variations of the phrase, 'I dread to think what would have happened if ...". A statement which generally means that the poster has some vague recollection of reading a story somewhere about someone who collected some mega-amount from some large corporation for the distress caused by discovering something unsavoury in some well-known branded food product, and are curious as to what the going rate is for this sort of thing.

which could confuse the issue more; if the wasp is found to be German and the marshmallows were packaged in Germany... Would the wasp be a foreign object even though it's native to the original location?
