  • Morning all

Gorgeous day here. Have taken the big dog out and hung all the washing out. Today plan to crack on with the garden and do a tip run. Need to do a menu plan as well. DS is having a pyjama day at the mo. Tea tonight is HM pizza.

Big hugs to Lou and all who need one today.

    Essex girl welcome back

    Have a good day all

  • Hi Bargainbird - yes, they are crochet flowers, but not mine (sadly) - just a photo I took a shine to when I Googled "crochet" once upon a time! I'm just learning to crochet at the moment - my mum is a whiz at it (and knitting too) and is delighted that I've finally given in and decided to give it a try. She used to despair of me as I was growing up as I took no interest at all in knitting and crochet, and she was desperate to pass her skills on!

Evie - Are they crochet flowers in your avvy ?
    :D
    :rotfl:Thats just what I was thinking-might have known you'd clock them :D

Not posted for a couple of days, what with cooking for visitors etc,I'll catch up later properly, but send positive thoughts and best wishes to Lou,Redruby & DD,Butterfly, sorry if I missed anyone who really needs a virtual hug.
Had lovely catch ups with my cousin on Wed,then former neighbour yesterday.I made granary rolls, butternut sq soup, pavlova with mango and strawberry, and cupcakes. There are only 3 left in the tin so the men must have been at em last night ;)

DS1 is at a wedding today so thats 1 less for tea.Currently cooking the chicken carcass to turn into soup in my pressure cooker,I'll also use it later to cook a small gammon joint for tea-DS1 doesnt like it so we can indulge with him being out.

DH auntie has just rung,we're off there on Sunday as some Canadian cousins are over, and she's asked me to make chilli,so will do that tomorrow, she's 86 so dont want her to do everything, she is very OS though so there'll be no waste:rotfl:Trying to persuade DSons to show their faces, don't know if I'm winning yet ;)

Right better carry on and tidy the mess my soupmaking has caused.
    Love to all xxx

Candygirl,(((hugs)))it would be s*ds law wouldnt it for DD to start when youre at the wedding-the best of luck for it all anyway, hope you feel brighter soon x

    Hi again,
I left the Drs popped in Morries and got 5 half price beef joints (1 for DD2) and went to pick up DGD2, DD2 has cancelled her app so I don't have to drive a 2hr round trip, instead she wants me to have DGD until tomorrow night, I love having her so not a problem. I'll take her out to the park after her lunch.

Dr told me to try not to worry, but he must make an emergency app for me to have an ultrasound scan with the stomach & bowel Consultant :o. Involves cameras, I'll leave the rest to your imagination. I have to have blood tests on Monday 9am. He looked at my records then weighed me. I've lost 16lbs in just over 3 wks . Mixed emotions, happy I'm a size 10 but worried as to the reason. Enough about me, but I did say to some of you who enquired that I would update. I wont be telling any of my family except DH as I don't want to worry them needlessly.:o
EVIE, my DD2's car broke down y/day and it's the alternator also, is there something in the air ??
BUTTERFLY and LOU sending ((((( hugs)))))
VALK SCOT, it does sound like your DS deserves the hols, at least you know he will appreciate the sacrifices that will be made.
CANDYGIRL, Hope you can enjoy your w/end with out SOTD producing DGS.

    afternoon all!
stopping for a spot of lunch :) Sis and i have decided to cook tonight and spend more on drinks :D

OH and i had another row this morning - does everyone argue this much? It's him that starts it all the time, he's tired and his fuse is short, but he can't keep taking everything out on me! Anywhoo it's sorted now, till tomorrow probably. - glad i am away for the night!

Bethebee hope your appt goes well and it's nothing serious.

I had a corned beef roll for lunch, not had one in years - need to have them more often!
