Where can i get my phone independently tested to prove that it hasnt had any water damage/dropped etc?

Can't answer the where question but costs will be £50 or so, hence my earlier point about is it worth it.
Yes if you win it would get re-imbursed but you may be paying out more than just getting it repaired. A google search shows places doing home button repairs for £40 or so.0 -
Send a letter before claim to T-Mobile, claiming under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, not the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). This is important, because you bought the goods as part of (and on condition of) a two year service contract, and the goods must last for at least as long as the service contract for which they intended to be used.
If T-Mobile then disputes that the goods had a durability defect at the time of supply, then that is when you get an independent report done.0
