Sorry for the delay in replying and keeping you up to date on this situation...She eventually got her baby back, her dad and stepmam told social services that she was a drug user (she wont even take paracetamol) they did spot tests and as expected she was totally clear. They are stilll fighting but as they where told 'on the quiet' that as they cannot adopt due to his drinking and police record if she allowed them to bring the baby up he would be a ward of court. I dont think she will ever forgive her dad and she and baby are now happy living at her mums. Have told them about this forum and how helpful it is in all sorts of problems, MSE has even more fans.
