Loving this thread and loving looking at the pictures, couple of questions though, firstly what side ball is best to use for a medium sized tree, and where can you buy the wooden poles from i looked on ebay but they looked a bit too thin, and lastly if you wanted to stick say sweets in wrappers like roses etc what would be the best thing to use to make them stick on the ball?
Wooden dowel from B&Q etc and i use double sided tape.i use a medium size polystyrene ball

I push the dowel into the polystyrene to make the hole, wrap whatever ribbon im using round the dowel and glue it,i then put glue on top of the dowel and stick the ball onto it.then i use some cellophane to cover the ball but again using the glue gun stick it onto the ball and walla start sticking

I've been buying dowel from the local diy shop and cutting it to size, I put some oasis in the bottom of the pot, stick the dowel in, then fill with quick set motar, i wrap my oasis in tin foil, only tried it with lollys and chocs on cocktail sticks, want to try more out, but will probably use cocktail sticks for most things x

raven83 I stuck my Ferrero Rocher on with a Glue gun :-) Had to stick some of the gold sweets back in the cases as well because they were not stuck firm enough.x
Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)

need some tips on how to keep the sweets attached i used double sided tape on some, glue on a few and cocktail sticks on the real tricky ones, is it best to cover the ball first so that the sweets stick better?
