TESCO Silly Price Electrical Items

Many Thanks to the friends of Martin who share the deals.
I had a fantastic day.
I got the Acer Aspire 5742-386G50Mnkk for £199. I asked the sales guy at the electrical area if they had any Acer Aspire 5742-386G50Mnkk.
He went away for about 30 seconds and came back with one , he then asked do you want it. I said yes. He then scanned it and said £199. He was very suprised at the price , but I guess he had to sell it to me ! I bought it and asked if they had anymore. He disappeared into the stockroom for 3 minutes and two other electrical sales guys went in. He came out with a lwer spec machine ( 4gigs and a 750 drive ) whch scanned at £449 and a couple of other machines , they all seemed to be wispering to each other. I eventually gave up and am very happy with my new lappy. ( Surrey keys store )
I then went to another store ( orp1ngt0n) and got the last Dell Inspiron notebook. I did what other MSE's suggested and grabbed all the tickets infront of the machines and scanned them. The little black Dell scanned at £99 and the red one scanned at £199 !( same machine different colour !) So I got the last Dell from a mature lady who I do not think realised what a bargain it was. My daughter was very pleased to get a netbook , she doesnt get very much and it made her happy ( now she can get on MSE herself).
Finally I got a student office 2010 product key card , but I dont think they scanned it properly so it may not work. I will pop back and see if they will activate it for me. Good old Mr T.
Good luck to everyone else looking for these deals , but you have to actually go to the store and ask for the product, if you telephone all you will do is alert the staff to the bargain and they will have for themselves. If they have it in their hand and have told you a price they have to sell it to you.0 -

Ok, so I picked this thread up last night, and thought I would head to tesco today, just incase I could pick up a photo frame for the OH.
Sadly I couldn't find one, but I did manage to pick up a Garmin Edge 500 cycle computer, quite specialist thing.
Tesco Price £17, online price £150 - £177 srp £200
I really could not believe it at all, it's the best grab it I have ever had.

Babyliss hair straighteners were £1.84 in Winchester today. They had some tony & guy ones too which had started at 49.99 and had been reduced to 4.99. Not on with other hair electricals, they were in a container in the centre asile of the shop - loads left earlier and big sign with price on0

I find that quite offensive, the product I brought, was on the shelf, marked at that price, alongside many other products heavily marked down, although not many left and I saw staff walking out with many of them. They were under banners indicating a sale, so I there is nothing cheating about it.0 -
