I got another Lumie clock yesterday and was going to offer on here but when I tested it, the bulb doesn't work. I've just rung the store and they said they have more and can exchange for me. It's a 30 mile round trip for me, which I'll do specally, so I really hope they do have more! I'm setting off in about 30 mins and I'll try to get more for people on here if I can. Wish me luck.

Sorry everyone, no luck. As I suspected might happen, after I drove 15 miles to the store I was told they didn't have any more in stock and couldn't exchange it. I even had difficulty getting a refund as when I bought the clock the recipt tore at the bottom, so the date wasn't visible.

Even better, when I said I had 'phoned the store to check if they had any before I made the 30 mile journey, and was told they did, I was told I couldn't have called the store because the guy on customer services said he'd been there for two hours so it would have been him I spoke to. Maybe, he said, I called another local store by mistake? Um, no, I used the telephone number on the receipt, but just in case, could you 'phone the other store to check if they have any? He did. They didn't.

I looked round for a bargain to make up for the disappointment and wasted journey, but there was nothing.

So, an hour and a half, and £5 in fuel wasted, even after I'd called ahead to check.

Plus I've found that the Breville (VHB014) hand blender I got (as I haven't been able to get the Kenwood one I really wanted) has got the most horrific reviews on Amazon and will probably break the second time I use it. So I am royally hacked off today.

    hi

has anyone seen anything cheap in the G!a$g0w ones?

    thanks

I've been trying most of the Glasgow southside and Lanarkshire ones all week and keep getting the same story that they did have great bargains but the staff got them and there's none "out the back". :(

I did notice that S1lv3rburn still have loads of the Toni and Guy straighteners at £5. Other than that nothing to report.

Sorry can't post links but I suggest lodging a complaint. That is terrible customer services.
I drove to a store the other day after I phoned up to check some stock, spoke to a man who said he reserved the item and removed it from the shelf. When I got there it was gone and I lost out.

I had a reply and also have a goodwill gesture heading my way.

As I am taking driving lessons and wouldnt want to get lost going to Tesco when there is sale etc. I think the sat nav would be more suitable for my needs. PM if anyone is interested. Thanks. on that note Argos East Ham is giving away £10 voucher to first 50 customers and as well free chad valley magical writer on 1st oct to first 100 customers. HTH
