reading through this thread is a bit like watching (.. except in words ..) the tottenham riots and all those looters filling their boots .. the uk mindset/attitude is a weird place these days .

I was just thinking exactly the same.

Also think the comments made about some of the staff are terrible. While I understand some people might have some bad experiences, I dont think its neccessary to refer to all Tesco Staff like this.

So are you going for a 6am start ? Im toying with the idea, got a kids xmas party for 60 little uns and need some gifts as cheap as poss - but I really need a laptop or netbook, not sure if its worth it or not !

Could be! lol. The alarm is set for usual time of 7.00 but i'm a terrible sleeper... hence why i'm here now after having about an hours sleep so far! Should be doing a school run, but my DS has been full of a head cold all weekend, (teenage man flu!) so it looks like a call to the school anyway and leave him sleeping!
A guy (customer) at collection desk had taken over all the lappy cards to get them price checked when I was there sunday and I overheard him being told they were all matching SEL prices.... chatted to another SA shortly after who said they had a few cheapos in on friday but all gone.... (to staff or customers, i'm not too sure?)
OK, final list to print... may see you at 6am, they did have the closed from 4pm till 6am signs out so we never know our luck:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My Dad would love a lumie body clock. Please could someone tell me whereabouts in store to look. Are they with the home electrics - kettles etc, or with shavers and hairdryers etc. Many thanks for your help

In my extra they were on the top shelf of the baby aisle !!

Just the SELS though - nothing left, as I would love to get one of these for my daughter. I have one that I paid full price for a few years ago now and love it to bits.

    Love it!

It is ironic that the Roses/Heroes/Quality Street/Celebrations tins which were selling for £5 until last week are now priced £10 and they have used that to do this artwork.
