My local looks just like it did yesterday as far as I can tell (apart from 'Price Drop' posters, etc.)... still a clearance area, but still couldn't see any of the items mentioned as bargains on here.

Quite cross in BANBURY yesterday. Asked what looked like a more senior member of staff who was rifling throrugh a trolly of toys if she knew if they had any more of the scooters out the back. She told me to que at the customer services which happens to also be the electrical desk.

She then shot behind the counter took one of the 2 girls off the till to scan stuff in the stock room directly behind for her. If full view of an ever growing que!! photo frames, cameras. She put her name on all of them and put them to one side.

Chap in front of me buying a reduced laptop that appeared from under the counter, he had already got several I gather from the girls comment. He paid and walked out with a techie chap from behind the desk.

The lady did not even offer to look for what I had asked for so I asked if there were any more of the Dell Inspiron computers that the chap had just bought. For some reason she had to make a call even though the cupboard was behind her, NO..... what a surprise.

Greedy behaviour Banbury.

Drat! Was planning on having a smooch around on Tuesday night as down that way. Was especially after a laptop after hubby threw our ancient one on the floor last week .

Anyway genuinely well done :T to everyone that got bargains. I just wish I was motivated to actually go out and hunt the bargains down! I got as far as making a list but didn't even got to our local one.

OMG!! After reading this thread while on nights last night, I thought I would pop in to my local Tesco Metro at 6am in my local Leamington Spa Petrol Station and noticed a big stand next to the Coffee Machine and Fridge selling this TV. Sony KDL46 EX723 46 inch Widescreen 3D with a SEL for £149.99.
I thought Im having a couple of those and took them to the Till. After paying I quickly got them in my Van. While sitting in the van I noticed I had actually been charged £2098 not the £300 stated on the SEL.
Took my receipt back to the woman at the till and after contacting her manager to check the TV price, she gave me over £3500 DTD back!!!!!...

OMG ..I have not had 1 single bargain due to these gready people taking hundreds of stuff to sell on ebay and now this!..THERE IS A GOD!!!

So I got 2 46" TV's and got paid over £3500 to take them away!!

RESULT!!!!
