  • Yup, just been up to W*st**n A**n*e, not opening till 6am. Time for bed I think. . .
  • what time did you go, i've been calling in each day on my way home from work, and so far i've got 2 cameras, 2 cam corders, digital photo frames, sewing machine. (that's christmas sorted) they still had the fuji pink camera for £20 this afternoon, and a few other ones for around £40.00 and 1 pair of the £2 head phones, they've never had the twin dvd's as i've priced these. Other stuff i can't coment on, cause i've not searched for what i didn't need.

I called in today to see if i could get a lap top for daughter, but i'd just missed out on the last one and that was at 2.00pm, it was sold for £100, and last night they sold 10 for £44 each. they still had digital photo frames, kettles, toasters (not many though), the last sewing machine that was there yesterday had gone, there was still some baby stuff available (moses basket and sheets), got the girl to check the price of some shavers, which wasn't reduced, but did get a beard trimmer for £2.50 (christmas present) and when upstairs at electrial with my grandson, the fella asked me did he want a digital camera, and it was only 50p 5 year old was pleased as punch with it.

Kitchen area had the pyrex dishes and there were loads of 3p wicker baskets in the middle of a isle and 2p plastic plates.

It was quite late on. I thinks its my fault cuz I dont really know what im looking for properly. New to all this!! U got any tips???!!! Thanks :rotfl:
  • i want it to start Tuesday!!!! dont get paid till then!!! grrrrrrrrrrr... im gonna miss out on the one thing i neeeed!! gutted.

good luck everyone. :) x will be on this site all day tomorrow feeling sorry for myself. lol

If you pay by cheque you will be ok, as cheques take a few days to clear through the banking system.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

reading through this thread is a bit like watching (.. except in words ..) the tottenham riots and all those looters filling their boots .. the uk mindset/attitude is a weird place these days .
  • Dunno if this is he right place to post this, but Tesco Direct have some great deals on the TVs at the min!!!.... i also have a code for £20 off if you spend over £100 if this helps anyone? x

Just got a 32" for £179 - £10 with over £75 spend code (£20 one expired but many thanks sunshinestar). Got £100 to spend on DS1's xmas and but he really wants a big telly and he offered to pay the difference when I told him he'd be lucky as Santa has a strict budget he's going to be really peased that his contribution is only going to have to be £69!!

Am going to store tomorrow to try and better it, after all if you can get a laptop for £44 then who knows:)
