Ditto! Although my TV wasn't free, it's the one I bought 9 years ago. Still, it's a Panasonic and it still works fine, so I went with the getting a digibox free from someone on Freecycle option.

ive tried with a digi box that i have but it still doesnt work.. not sure if it is the right connector thingy at the back, or if the connector works, or if the digi box works, or if the tv is just kn@ckered... lol. ive been saving up for one, and was planning on havin enough money closer to xmas, but if these tvs do go down in price, i may be able to afford on before then.

just hope the fellow west midlanders arent too greedy! lol. im sure they arent though. xx

Any good bargains laptop etc in Northern Ireland stores? I managed to pick up a Braun shaver yesterday, one was left on the shelf in n&wtownabbey.

haven't saw any in c0l3r.4ine or b4lly£ (£=money). didn't know about laptops when was in n3wt0wnbr.3d4 but SA said it was only personal grooming items that she had saw going through.
:) Be nice - it's free! :)

Oh right that seems a good price. Do you think there will be any stand mixers avail?
Do you mean a food mixer? The only one I think has been mentioned is a particular kenwood item, not sure if it's a mixer or a food processor. If you search this thread for kenwood you will find the model number - I think only one older model has been reduced to £9, the others are full price.
Edit - it is model FP 196, think it is a food processor.

what gets me is all these so called bargains people are buying
are they going to actually use or are they going to
end up in the cupboards used only once
I have a sandwich maker one in a box and one used
that have been there for years and a bread maker
and loads of stuff in the attic

so are they really bargains if you are not going to use them :D

I agree with you wholeheartedly. However, I also think everyone has to come to that conclusion by themselves! The less I have, the simpler my life and the happier I am. It's taken me many years to reach that conclusion though!

Yes, the type you mix ingredients when making cakes with. The ones in the thread are processors. Ah well, I shall try anyway and take them all upto the price checker.

Just don't leave them there if they scan at more than you want to pay ;)
