It is a doubled edge sword. We do take a lot of crap and I feel we should get some perks. However (again I can only speak for my store), my staff have enough work to do without shirking off to check prices. If I catch my team at it they are in trouble. One of my team was recently subject to disciplinary action for hiding cheap goods and selling them on ebay
I was in a west midlands store yesterday lunch time, asking on electicals for laptop for my son, no none here all out of stock, half hour later stood waiting for a staff member to come back to me about a query and at least 20 staff members individually hurried past clutching netbooks, cameras, laptops and tvs then overheard other staff members disscussing "theres more in the warehouse did you get any yet" obviously none of it was going to be made availiable to customers. I was really upset to be left standing with a 4 yr old and a baby for 40 minutes while the man who was meant to be finding a battery and charger for an ex display netbook went missing, with all rest of staff saying don't know where he is only to be told oh sorry he's serving another customer now but we can't find the battery anyway. I was stunned by how rudely I was treated.0 -
Most stores around me that are 24 hours (in england) don't open till 8am on a monday morning. So I cant see them opening at 12.01 or even 6am.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Im wondering if it will be a genuine price drop or a ''tesco price increase / drop.''
Ie tin of soup was 40p 2 weeks ago, 55p last week 45p tommorrow, then tesco can claim a 10p price drop!!!!!:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Also visited Ashford in middlesex today, they had lots of the reduced toys and DTD barbie cars, Staff were going crazy in the elec section they said they had some £44 laptops but noone was avaliable to sell them and come back when elec dept was open!!!!
Thats my local. I even asked them about the laptops this morning and was told they have nothing. Three/four times I have asked about camera's / laptops this week
Any further info on which laptops etc they had/have?0 -

Get the name of the person who served you, and the store managers name and email phillip green with a copy to the store manager with a very strongly worded complaint! Tell them you expect a laptop for £50!!!0
