    Hi guys,

I headed down to my local Tesco after reading through this thread!! (I can't believe some of the bargains you guys have got!!) I was looking for the crazy cheap laptops!! I asked a sales guy about 'the reduced laptops' that 'a friend' ha told me about!! He knew straight away which ones I was talking about because he bought one yesterday!!! He said they were completely sold out so I asked him if they had any other cheap laptops. he took me over to the clearance/ex-display shelf and pointed out a GORGEOUS HP Notebook that was reduced from £499 to £399! He told me he would double check the price for me because he knew it had been reduced further because he was going to buy it before he got his crazy cheap one! He scanned the label and it came through at £149

Do you have a model number or a barcode of the laptop please? I was under the impression it was only an hp netbook which was reduced but my store has two different dells and an hp but I can't get there till lunchtime to check :-(

You're all such a helpful bunch! NOT!

Sorry but people have blatantly ignored a couple of posts this morning, people asking if this is still ongoing or not. A simple 'yes', or 'no' would suffice.

I usually keep my mouth shut, I hate trouble makers but I am so p!ssed off with the lack of help on this thread this morning. Not the spirit of MSE at all! Is it so difficult to answer a fellow MSE member?

    It's down right rude!

    Thanks guys...

And how would they know if it was still ongoing, the shops don't open till 10
  • Raced down to Ch**Ley T last night to hunt for a laptop and mine is on it's way out, no joy there but did manage to pick up a Black & Decker cordless drill for £12! it was marked up on a White SEL as this price but is in the Direct catalogue for £42! Couldn't find any of the other electrical bargains but they had loads of kiddies paddling pools for £1, kids parachutes for £1, sand toys for 10p, Archery sets for £1.25 and a few more cheap toys.
Anyone managed to find laptops in the Ch**Ley or Southp**t areas?

Edit: you beat me to it onlyme!

Granted the shops don't open till 10 but that's not the point really.

I've been a member for a few years now and notice people ignoring fellow MSE members all the time. It's an on going problem, something I really dislike. We're all supposed to help each other out.

Even a reply like 'the shops dont open till 10, no one knows'. It's the acknowledgement more than anything.

How have I missed this thread??!!! :o

Is there still bargains to be had or have I missed out on this one?

I have noticed this thread on the front page for a while now, but never really took much notice. I told myself that if I see a thread keep being bumped to the top of the page to LOOK AT IT but I didn't.! :( I did the same thing with the DTD at Tesco, missed the first week of that because I didn't have a look, vowed never to do it again......silly me!

still some items around, just need to have a good look really, the prices also keep going down all the time... and new items come up as well! check the bargain toys thread if you need toys! ;)
