  • Thats what I tried to do but then things just got in the way - the mess up with my wages 3 months in a row right at the beginning of my debt busting did not help at all lol.

I am currently sat starting a meal plan for the month. I haven't made any phone calls yet because I overslept and I have my appraisal at work today and don't want to get myself worked up before I go in there. I'm going to get up early tomorrow and do it then.
    DEBT TOTAL: £7609.44
  • I've made the phone calls I need. Everyone was really friendly. I've requested confirmation of what has been agreed so I can keep copies of them. I would follow up with letters except my printer doesn't work right now! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

My appraisal didn't happen yesterday which put a damper on my day because now I have to wait for them to decide when its happening!
    DEBT TOTAL: £7609.44
  • Today I have:

*I gained 10p on my onepoll account.
*Created a meal plan for the month

Thats about it MSing wise I think
    DEBT TOTAL: £7609.44
  • SO today I have paid £187 off of my debt! Still got some more to do but going to struggle big time this month!

hi squidge, just read your diary whilst lounging on the sofa watching fat families :)

someone mentioned mystery shopping which i def think you should look at! whilst you may not always know in advance what shifts you will be doing, most jobs that are released are to be done within the week so you can pick them up pretty short notice. if you look at the mystery shopping thread on here there are loads to sign up to! i do this and get an extra few hundred £ a month fitting it around my full time job http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3729203

if you dont fancy it, you should def sign up to edigital which is online mystery shopping, you look at websites and test customer services etc... you can make loads on the retail online surveys if you do the purchase and return ones. they usually have 100's of surveys at a time but normally only release them about once a month. link is on the ms thread.

also, from looking at your payments, looks like some months you seem to enthusiastically pay off lots on payday (:T) then life gets in the way and you are left short :( perhaps you could try making the minimum payments on payday and transferring the rest to an online savings account so it is accessible if something unexpected happens but out of reach and then if you dont need it you can make a payment to debt at the end of month as well :A

btw that colleague sounds like a right !!!!!:( that was not on involving your work like that :(:(

good luck with the ironing venture! i hate ironing so just tend to hang clothes up when wet or wear them creased :rotfl:
