Just got to take it a month (well a payday!) at a time Squidge.
It irks me when I can't pay any extra per month, but as long as the overall debt is going down it's all goodI was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Yeah but with the issues with my wages it doesn't feel like anything is going down which is what is getting me frustrated. I know it will go down its just not happening as quickly as I like!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

So again I'm struggling to make ends meet but I don't know why. Well actually I do. They sorted out my wages BUT they emergency taxed me so I won't be getting the other money until next pay day. I'm supporting my other half again for a bit because he's still trying to get back to work properly. With petrol costing me £10 a day to get to and from work it's rather expensive every month!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

My onepoll account is now at £7.20!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

I think I'm around £7.60, it's a long road until we get a payout!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0

I hope you're talking about your OnePoll account and not your debts!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Bit of both really. I get paid next Friday so am going to be sorting it out then hopefully. I am just struggling because as soon as I think I've solved one problem another one comes round the corner and I don't know how to deal with it.DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

So I've just taken a questionnaire and could be entitled to WTC so I'm going to phone for a claim pack and get that filled in. Any little bit helps so if I get something it will reduce down the debt.
I'm feeling rather low at the moment and I've worked out that this is going to be one very tight month and I'm not sure how exactly I'm going to get through it! I guess I just have to try and cope. Hopefully things will start to get better soon. I've worked out the calculations and yes its going to be tight but I'll get there.
Well I'll get there if work don't stuff up my wages again!!!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440 -
Ok so I know this is my 3rd post tonight but there's something great about being able to post knowing I'm not the only one in this situation.
I've decided I'm going to start again from this pay day coming. Yes the past two months have been a bit of a glitch but from this next coming payday I'm going to be a proper DFW! I spoilt my OH for his birthday and I guess thats what slowed me down this month so the budget is set. I will cut back when I can. I do like having a bottle of drink in my room for when I'm working or watching a movie but I'm going to start going down a brand. I'm going to count how much is in my change pot and keep a running total of that everytime I add change to it. I'll take food to work - starting tomorrow. That will save me at least £15 a week.
My budget includes £20 a week just for me but will reduce that down if I need to. With the amount of hours I'm working at the moment I won't get chance to spend that £20 a week so will probably be better off lol!
So yeah starting November 18th I will stick to my budget! I will keep a spending diary! I will take lunch to work! I will check my bank account every other day! I will start doing this properly! If I want to be debt free ASAP I have to start thinking properly!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440
