My washing machine scares the dogs.
It's 15 years old, we've patched it up (we could get a new one, but we're having fun betting on this one's life) so many times, repaired it, soldered it, even glued it. It dances across the floor while whistling a bit- but it's alive! Still! 0 -

So glad it has all arrived at last. What is the weather like where you are, can you get a load on and out to dry? Its a beautiful Indian summer type day here today. Had 3 loads of washing on the line by 10 this morning. Have just told DH he has got a big pile of ironing coming his way. You can imagine the response that got, it wasn't exactly 'Of course my darling, anything for you'. I will just have to put a burnt iron mark on one of his shirts now

Don't say that.

Dull and threatening rain. I've got a new tumble dryer remember.
Bit worried about wm on bouncy floor now. When it starts to spin with clothes in, the drum seems to hit off the side of the machine and it sounds like a hammer. The noise does stop but there's no way that's right.
I spent ages with the level.
Have ordered floor cup thingies that are supposed to reduce vibration on wooden subfloors but think I'll need to get a piece of 18mm or 22mm thick board to sit wm on too. These floorboards are awful. I miss my kitchen.

I feel your pain. The common as muck 10p each LE bulbs are all 'warm white'. What you need is 'cool white'. CEF sometimes stock them, but only if they didn't get out of the wrong side of the bed on the day you ask for them.I've already had mail, this was the postie van with parcels.
I bought 100w light bulbs online as I am so sick of dull energy saving things. They arrived but the 100w bulb is no brighter. I don't get it. I 'm not really having a good day. *sigh*..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -

jackie does yours take in water in short bursts at the start? This one takes in water for around a second (I kid you not) then stops for a second then takes in more and stops. It does this for a few seconds before filling up normally. Is this the case or is mine knackered already?Herman - MP for all!
