I've already had mail, this was the postie van with parcels.

I bought 100w light bulbs online as I am so sick of dull energy saving things. They arrived but the 100w bulb is no brighter. I don't get it. I 'm not really having a good day. *sigh*.

It had better arrive soon, I don't want to be up all night doing names the night before, and I definitely don't want to have to buy more from exorbitant local supplier

I had school pinafores and tights arrive today.

I had a grump because i had to go answer the door and i had just sat down after having to change the baby who insisted on repeatedly kickin me in the face... and now the sodding phone is ringing... I swear the world is conspiring against my sitting down today... al far too much to expect OH to do any of it

any sign of it? My washing machine is having a paddy today...did you go for the big lg in the end? You think you are bad at these decisions....we've been looking and umming and ahhing for a year..and still no closer!

WM and dryer have both arrived.

Strange beasts, I have to say.

Dryer makes a strange gurgling noise every now and then (like a kid would if they were drinking through a straw and there was nothing left in the glass). I'm going to work on the assumption that's normal and ignore it.

Washing machine is on a bouncy wooden floor and so far seems to be coping ok, it's on it's first cleaning program (no clothes, just water & soap powder to clean out drum residue. Will find out what it's really like once it has a load in.

Tbh, I'm so happy to be able to wash stuff again, I'd keep it even if it vibrated it's way across the floor.

I did go for the LG in the end. I like the tunes it plays. :rotfl:

My dryer makes that noise too, but then, it also put in for early retirement 3 days after it arrived! lol
