My last few blankets I have made have been either wool from poundworld which is a pound a ball, or b & m for £1.19 a ball. It just varies a bit which colours they have in so I normally buy a load in a go when I see something I like.

I would also recommend woolwarehouse. Another of my favourites is http://www.marrineryarns.com/

Or Kemps often have some bargains. All depends what you are looking for.

    Hi,

Thanks for the recommendations everyone i used to get wool from dragon yarns online, they were rapid with delivery and excellent value. I think they have changed their name but just google dragon yarns.

I really don't need any more wool at the moment, no matter how much i want it so i have bookmarked and will be trying to resist.

    Regards

  • I have been buying wool from the Amazon site. Marriner wool is being sold for £1 for 100 gm ball. I bought 45 balls and the postage and packing was only £2.95. A bargain I think. Hope this is useful.
