Car Jacking / Mugging

Options
I was told today of the a nasty practise happening in some areas of the Country, it goes like this....

You get into your Car, and go to drive off but as your look out the rear window you see a large bit of paper/plastic has been put on the back window, preventing you from seeing out. You nip out of the car to remove the object, and bang the robbers appear from nowhere and steal the Car/Mug you. So be warned, it seems a variation on the somebody laying on the road trick.
My Mind wanders, if found please return.

Another false alert here otherwise known as an urban myth. This one has been around a couple of years................

Snap! Great minds think alike. Any significance in your tag 'Rex Mundi'? It was in a book I was reading last week.

There's so many things that make this urban myth stupid.
-if the car was parked nose first then you'd normally walk up from behind and see the note
-if you reversed in it wouldn't matter
-you would probably use the mirrors
-where do these muggers suddenly appear from and how do they do it silently?

I suggested removing the rear screen from all cars to solve this problem.
    Happy chappy

No, it was 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail, the book upon whose findings the Da Vinci Code is supposed to have been based. Rex Mundi was code for the king of this world, aka the Prince of Darkness.

It's not code at all. It's Latin.

'Rex Mundi' was hidden in code in various manuscripts and taken to represent an evil deity, the identity of whom is liked with various mythical beings, including Adonis.
