I did wonder if we'd ever reach this point. It's been a touch and go thing for quite a few months now.
First one way then another.
I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever finally be able to say it's definitely swung one way or the other.
Well I feel as if we're now 90% certain of which way it's going.
We've finally reached tipping point.
It is now clear for all to see the "Sibley side" have managed to become a more obnoxious lot than their dastardly opponents.
Is that a mix adjusted level of obnoxiousness?
Don't forget that Geneer has gone so that's going to have a skewing effect.0 -

Wish you wouldn't raise our hopes like that.If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

Pimperne is lost as theres no thread he can link up to detailing someone is getting depression and he can't think of a better person to happen to, as ironically, they are so nasty.
Hamish posted, but didn't even bother adding his comment, and then signed off for the day.
Blacklight is protesting. Julie is still putting together her essay on why the numbers are incorrect and how a negative number actually means a positive number and we just do not understand. Stevie and Ukcarper are too concerned with pretending they can't figure out what a chav is, and FTBfun is trying to figure out what the bitter taste is all about.
And if that don't get this thread moving, I resign
As I said on a thread yesterday, or the day before, this isn't really about the house prices, it's about getting one over on other people, often on other forums and being "correct". Hence drops tend to be relatively quiet, while rises seem to end up looking like we've all just beeing drinking too much lemonade at playgroup.
You might be reading too much into the lack of posting activity.
How many people are motivated enough, and have sufficient time, to argue about market noise; especially when that market noise has remained so quiet for so long.
If there was anything new or interesting about the figures there'd be less chat about sandwich fillers. As an aside Greggs for a limited period have a 'spicy one' pasty for a limited period at £1.20 - very nice.0 -

You referenced the article as justification that people thought prices would surge / soar.
Keep up Graham, your arguing against yourself now.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Strange how we've had to resort to talk about sandwich fillings on a "Nationwide" thread.
As GD said earlier, any sniff of positive figures and we'd be on page 5+ by now, and several forum members would be cleaning their keyboards.
This, I guess "positive" thread:

Has less response than the current "negative" thread. Not that it makes any difference to anything mind.0 -

I wonder if they use that Sainsbury's curry sauce in it.
I bet they do.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0
