    Sandwich Update:

Due to frivilously splashing the cash when the land registry figures release made me richer overnight, I'm now going to have to cut my cloth accordingly now I'm considerably poorer overnight.

    Suggestions?

I'm thinking value chicken liver paste.

May I suggest that you throw caution to the wind and go for thinly sliced Aberdeen Angus Steak.

You could eat that with some relish.

The last three words in that sentence raise concerns about you.

Strange how we've had to resort to talk about sandwich fillings on a "Nationwide" thread.

As GD said earlier, any sniff of positive figures and we'd be on page 5+ by now, and several forum members would be cleaning their keyboards.

Don't think anyone cares to talk about it really.

Pimperne is lost as theres no thread he can link up to detailing someone is getting depression and he can't think of a better person to happen to, as ironically, they are so nasty.

Hamish posted, but didn't even bother adding his comment, and then signed off for the day.

Blacklight is protesting. Julie is still putting together her essay on why the numbers are incorrect and how a negative number actually means a positive number and we just do not understand. Stevie and Ukcarper are too concerned with pretending they can't figure out what a chav is, and FTBfun is trying to figure out what the bitter taste is all about.

And if that don't get this thread moving, I resign :D

As I said on a thread yesterday, or the day before, this isn't really about the house prices, it's about getting one over on other people, often on other forums and being "correct". Hence drops tend to be relatively quiet, while rises seem to end up looking like we've all just beeing drinking too much lemonade at playgroup.

Not sure you want it on a sandwich, but you are not ruling out wanting it full stop.

9p for curry sauce ? The jar a delivery costs must be at least a couple of pence. What on earth do they make it from ?

Anyway, I'm waiting for the 31/8/11 update on your signature. I hope it isn't 9p less than the previous month.

I would still eat it (well at least try it).

I could blow my deposit on curry source and have a bath in it!

Forgot to update my signature, will do it now.

Surge...soar. Much of a muchness really.

You do realise the article is referring to rises over the next 5 years.
21% is hardly surging over that period and indeed could be less than inflationary rises over the same period.

That's what the so called "bears" have been saying since it was released. So yes, I do realise. Thanks for the concern.

Well done on catching up. However, I was just asked for anyone who thought prices would surge. Sure, the word soar is used instead of surge, so yes, technically, I am completely wrong and should be hung for it.
