New challenge, am gonna do it this month :A
Already spent 37.46 on pet food, lunch box bits etc for the month
Another 51.97 at wholesaler on meat, again for the month also bought a huge catering tub of good instant coffee for £13, included in that, will last prob 2 months.
Spent 9.98 on a months worth of posh 'pod' coffee - Hmmm a theme developing herewell we,ve all got a vice:rotfl::rotfl:
Run out of orange juice and will need a few lunchbox basics before school starts, but will hopefully not spend too much this weekend.
Freezer is bulging as are the cupboards

Hi this is my second month doing the GC and am quite enjoying it, it certainly makes me think about what I am buying, whether I need it or not so this month as Im quite well stocked up I am am going for September £350.00 On nights this week so not going for a biggish shop until weekend so today is my 1st NSD of the month!! i've not done the grocery challenge for a few months was doing it on my own though on my diary, but have fallen by the wayside a littleso have come back here if you'll have me!
I did a big shop the other day in our local wholesalers so spent around £200 but am not counting that towards the monthly spends as it was bulk of lots and lots of things (inc. enough meat for the month). Then i did a shop in asda which was £70 so am aiming to spend £250 this month in all. :beer:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. May 1st, £116, 123, June 1st, £115,536, New mortgage added for extension- £165,000 July 1st!Mortgage Overpayments - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200.
Total- £1162.23
Goal pay off 1% of current mortgage in 1 year. £1200. (96.83% there)

Could you please put me down for £260 for September? This is to buy all food and household groceries for two adults and two children - I'm working on £60 per person for the month plus £20 extra for unforeseen expenses.
