MBNA 28 Day Refund

I emailed again, just saying thanks for response and I look forward to recieving the cheque and this was the reply:

Good Morning Miss Dixon Keeling

Mark Pierce has asked me to reply to your email regarding your cheque.

I can confirm that your cheque will be sent out today or tomorrow at the latest and should be with you by the end of the week.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in receiving your refunds.

So fingers crossed it will come!

I phoned again, and got told that they are testing a new spreadsheet to calculate the amounts owed and that the testing should be done by the end of the week, so hopefully I should hear by next week sometime. They also said they were having difficulty with my account due to multiply account codes... huh? Ive had ONE loan with MBNA, and possibly a credit card (that I dont think I had PPI on, and havent complained about!). Sounds more like they dont know what they are doing....

Has anyone else been bombarded with 0% balance transfer deals from them in the last few weeks? I started getting emails and promotional letters from them the same week they sent me the letter saying they were investigating my complaint. I've had another one today extending the 0% deal offer for another month. They seem very keen for me to run up a debt with them - not so keen to pay off theirs.
