Now I feel left out! My claim was upheld on the 12th July and Ive still not heard anything! ;o(
Well done all of you that have had your cheques!0 -
I had the uphold letter, but no figures at all.
It seems they have about 8 weeks To send the details out and then a further 8 weeks for the check its self
Another example of the poor regulation by the FSA
I'll try the e-mail thgh and see if it gets me any were0 -

I have been at both ends.....complained to MBNA about CC 14th july, upheld 16th August...said i will received cheque by 16th sept. Complained about loans on 13th Aug & received cheques last saturday..in a matter of 2 weeks..from complaining to receiving cheques :j:j i couldnt believe it...so it looks like there is no structure to pay dates, however, think they have been quite good sticking to the 28 days by the looks of other threads...good luck:T:T:T:Txx0

Give them a call, something is amiss here. The Customer Advocate Office number is 0800 917 6592.
Ian
I phoned them a couple of weeks ago, and spoke to a very nice lady. She explained that they were a bit behind, and could I give them a couple more weeks. It will be eight weeks on tuesday that the claim was upheld. I was hoping that I would hear something this weekend, as I initally sent the form off back in february, which was during the JR, so I thought it would have been dealt with by the 31st August.0 -
I emailed MBNA and got the below response:
Holly, Ian O’Doherty has asked me to reply to the below email.
Please be advised that your cheque was requested on the 16th August and I would expect it to arrive shortly.
If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact me.
Regards;
Mark Pierce
That was on 1.9 but still no cheque!
How is everyone else getting on??0 -
Actually accosted the postman in the street yesterday but all he had for me was a £1 off voucher for the local garden centre. Better than nothing! I have a refund from RBS due as well and that's running late by two weeks now. As for HSBC, pffffffft.0
