Advice please- holiday in a week and split up with boyfriend

Hello

Me and my (ex) boyfriend were due to go on holiday to Mexico in a week's time. We have now split up due to him causing a lot of trouble. Does anyone know how or if I can sell the tickets??

It is in a week's time. I know this is very last minute.

Thanks for your help.

  • No idea if you'd have any luck selling the tickets, but could you still go and try to get a friend to go with you in his place?

By the way, were you paying for his ticket as well?

footiemad, sorry to hear about your problems. Now I have some leave left and I love football too (plenty to talk about!). Now all I need is to persuade the wife to let me go on this very educational sounding trip . . . . . .:A ;)
  • I stupidly paid for it!! He owes me quite a bit of money but that's another story. All of my friends are working :(
  • Try to sell the tickets (do people put holiday tickets on ebay?) but if you can't find a buyer, I'd still jet off to Mexico on my own personally!

There's no way I'd lose all that money and still not go!

I was hoping that was the case!! lol
Seriously, good luck with finding a buyer; failing that I agree with Plans - go on your own. I'm sure cancellation charges at this stage are extremely high, if not 100%.
  • Thanks. I'm not sure whether I could go by myself!

I'm another one for go by yourself. It may feel a little awkward at times but you could have some peace to let recent events settle and be put into perspective. It could be quite healing, and confidence boosting.

you could possibly sell the tickets though you may need to cover the cost of changing the names.

I too would go anyway! yes it may be scary jetting off on your own so far away but with it being an all inclusive, you will be able to stay around the hotel without the worry of going for a dip in the pool and leaving your belongings unattended.
pack your mp3 player, a few books and enjoy a bit of 'me' time!
