  • Hello everybody:hello: - been lurking again as not had much time TBQH. Still going through IVF, failed last cycle but lost patience with local place as it was very much "this is what we're doing" and we had NO input.....So the other week we got on a train and went down to Harley Street  Actually was only £25 dearer than last place and the DIFFERENCE  - talk about patient orientated. Upshot is go back in Nov for some baseline tests (had a scan when we went) and then start different type of treatment in Jan. Still a very slim chance though....but still...... Apart from that also been having investigations for abdo problems - had MRI cancelled twice when I turned up due to my having IVF and find out at second cancellation I should have had a blood test and be starved. Thank you for assuming I'm psychic .....need to ring up to re-arrange this week but in "no mood" today. London IVF place did say have a holiday as we've not had one of any sort for 2 years so with the money we'll save on this new treatment regime compared to the last one we were on we've booked a last minute to our fave place - Egypt!! Apart from that hacked off with one of the typing places I get work from; there is one woman who gives out the work who has REALLY got it in for me. I can do nothing right. She tells me I'm typing drugs names wrong which I have known for years and I change it to her spelling and then a few days later tears me off a strip for spelling them wrong :( Of course it's all done on instant message so there's no record of her speaking to me like something on her shoe.....today I have had to ask 3 x for work to be told there "isn't anything suitable"......Applied to a couple of other places and waiting to hear.....find it really demoralising if I'm being honest.....and with that moan (I do hope it's hormones causing this :rotfl:) I'm going to watch telly. A rare treat TV in the day..... Fortunately dinner tonight is mostly made - pasta with roast veggies.... Hope everyone is having a slightly better day LOL!
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Candygirl: if the laxatives don't work one of my ploys is to be very sympathetic and loving to the evil ones. It completely baffles them and leaves them wondering what has happened to them that they haven't yet discovered. I have made it a rule in life never to react to troublemakers in the way they expect. You can have a great deal of fun and get the reputation of being a nice person. OK, I'm twisted!

Here I am busy cooking bacon and chicken ready to make pies for the Harvest Supper next Monday. Why we can't have it on Saturday like every one else I've not yet discovered. Also have a lot of typing to do for my OH and the garden is screaming for attention. BUT I'M RETIRED.

    Hi all

Just finished work and have come back to an empty house - so having a little bit of 1on1 time with the PC without OH asking 'what you looking at' every 10 seconds - sure he thinks i,m having an affair :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Scampi n chips tonight from the bottom of the freezer - hope its ok or might be my last post :o

I have ordered my special coffee pods off of Amaz@n on their subscription and should save me £5-£10 per month, I know I said no online shopping, but if I go to the shops to buy the pods, I end up spending more on other bits, so will see how it pans out.:A

Off to read all the goss now.

Have a fab evening all, and HI to the newbies and HUGS to NPM and Lou, hope things are on the up xx
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
