The only way that might work as a "business" is with no discernable customer service costs and with customer card details collected for a CPA up front too. But as I have asserted, that's not "business", it's scamming.

'spose you think bottled water is a scam as well, after all you can get it "free" from a tap...it must be a "right" as well...

As I read it, it sounds like a pretty good business model for firms and individuals who are not perhaps as savvy as the likes of you in tracking mobile phones, perhaps its a price worth paying?

What is more interesting though is the fact that the OP still won't tell us how they "presumed" they canceled the contract...which as far as I can see is the route of the problem...

I suppose the next thing you'll be saying is that as well as free education being a "right" students and others have the right to violently protest on the streets as part of their "rights"....

you're a bit like the OP in that you don't seem to like what you read on here, if you don't like it...it must be wrong...which is neither a mature or logical way to approach things....business models or business tactics are not bad or evil just because you don't like them...as I've said already...the point of my questions are basically to determine if the OP did things properly...business ethics is for another thread...

I'd love to read your full manifesto as to what are "Basic Rights"...or do you pick and choose, like you do when addressing points I make on here?
No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere
