Have been scammed by this company do not give them any details of yours or even evaluate their software that doesn't work.
A few month ago I evaluated this location software to locate my mobile it didn't work. I told them it did not work and expected to hear nothing more. About a month a go I had a withdrawal on my bank account of £200. I contacted my bank and told them i had not been provided services and could not even logon to the MOBILE website to complain i have screen shots. I sent this plus a battery of paper of people having similar problems to my bank Santander formally Alliance and Leicester. Now at the time my account was locked from online transactions as I had made three errors whilst using the online purchases and a phone call to the branch had told me i had to unlock it with my passport which i had never done. The bank refunded the £200 and I thought all was well. I tried using my account recently again and found that I coul not make payments when I new I should have money in the account. I looked on line and the £200 has been refunded to MOBILE LOCATE company even though the bank changed all my cards to prevent them taking further funds.
I AM APPALLED THAT A COMPANY PRETENDING TO BE IN LONDON AND IN FACT IS OVERSEAS IS SCAMMING PEOPLE WITHOUT ANYTHING BEING DONE ABOUT IT
DO NOT USE THEM
NAMED AND SHAMED

The bank have not notified me that this was happening just took the money out of my account and took me from a healthy balance without even a letter I had a complaint running with them how can they do this?0

Called Santander this morning and was put on hold while being transferred to their disputes department.
Rashley.
They did raise a dispute . Reason on 26 Aug that they did not receive the information they requested. Send out a new disclaimer form and will email her manager immediately
Will send this back to the fraud department.
Said it would have been ideal if the Fraud department would have asked me by letter why they had not received this information and warned me that this would happen . She also said that they would return all the charges to my account. I Said to her that I had already been through this once when they allowed Mobile Locate to take the money fraudulently in the first place.0 -
surely they didn't take the money fraudulently if you had cancelled your a/c correctly, which you haven't confirmed yet on here, and, secondly which tariff did you sign up for, the only one I can see at £200 per month is the top tier package, is that the one you signed up for, I'm just wondering if you hadn't correctly cancelled the agreement, is this the normal monthly payment?
You're not "martin" by any chance, who posted the most recent complaint, which reads very much like the post above apart from the line
" I presumed my account was closed as never used it afterwards ".
It also appears from their T & Cs that if you DON'T cancel within the 30 day trial, they will charge a years subscription, and if you cancel outside the 30 day trial they will charge £75. This is all in their T&Cs and is similar to how a lot of 30 day trials work, e.g Lovefilm, Experion etc...
The company also appears to be more geared towards companies with many phones issued to employees, are you a company with many phones, are you an individual, why would you need to track your phone.
Looking at what you said so far, you appear to be quite vague in your circumstances, yet appear quite happy to "slag off" this firm on a public forum, perhaps a bit more info is required?
Also what makes you think they are overseas?
MobileLocate Ltd.
Surrey Technology Centre
40 Occam Road
Surrey Research Park
Guildford, GU2 7YG
which appears to be fairly large premises on an industrial estate in the UK, also Mobile Locate Ltd appear to be a UK registered company since 2002.No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -
I have found my documentation I had scanned in when I sent this back and took it down to my branch manager with a letter asking for a reciept0

As you seem to be working for the said company perhaps you should read all the reviews that are currently on the internet about this companies activities which have been investigated by the trading standards0
-
I would hazard its a pretty good idea they are overseas when a call to your office is passed to an overseas department who cannot understand English but tells you he is not based in the UK.
I think you should read the other numerous posts about this company and w you will clearly have a better understanding. It seems I am one of many who are in this situation.0 -

Sorry, but I do not work for them, secondly as I've answered your point, perhaps you could answer mine, how did you cancel within the 30 days and finally, the web site for reviews of this company have something like a dozen or less complaints in 2 years, the majority of which appear to be based on peoples failure in following the cancellation procedure correctly. Yet this does appear to be a fairly large operation.
Perhaps if you didn't immediately take a "holier than thou" standpoint, you may get more assistance on here and again, that was the reason I asked about how you cancelled the 30 day trial...as it may be, in contract , you haven't a leg to stand on.No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0
