There is a £3.59 pizza on special offer B1G2F so 6 packs of batteries and 3 pizzas for 9p. :j
I did that this morning when it failed! :(

For those that it's working for, for 10p you can get 6 x Frijj milkshares or whatever they're called. £1.20 BOGOF. That was going to be my next "shop"!

Damn, no Extra near me. Am tempted to try it in the Metro in town and my friend is driving me to the normal one later too - so will see if it works in there.

Either way, I'd have conveniently forgotten my purse if it don't work.
  • It's killing me that I am in work and can't get this!!!!!! Anyone tried any Bel*ast stores?

It worked in an extra which had a sel showing as buy one get one free on 6 packs, but at another extra where the offer was buy one get 2 free it didn't work when I bought 12 packs (just gave me bog2f discount). I thought maybe it was because I had bought 12 packs and not 6 but others on here have bought more than 6. It's a very strange glitch, difficult to work out where it works, but thank OP.

It is a strange one, as I've had it work on 6's and 12's, AA's and AAA's but my SEL's have been the BOGOF ones so perhaps it only works on them.

I think all the cardiff extras have been cleared. I haven't seen any mention of caerphilly yet though....

Thanks. I could try Caerphilly, Y/Mynach and Upper Boat but I am spending more time in Tesco than a lot of their employees these days! I think I will just ring up my nearest Tesco and say, "Sorry but I am unable to attend your store for the battery glitch today because I have an upset stomach."

Ok now do I try another Ts today? Looks like this one is very hit and miss to find.

Has anyone had it work buying 3 lots of AA and 3 lots of AAA in the same transaction. Got this earlier as was the only combination I could do as one store only had 2 packs left and the other only 3 AA. As I posted earlier only got the B1G2F offer. The next nearest big store to me is just a normal Ts not an extra. A few expresses on the way...but see noone appears to have had luck in them.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
From reading all the posts it may work only where the sel is buy one get one free and not where it is buy one get 2 free. Can others who buy confirm which sel is showing please.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Thanks OP worked in my local extra store, sign said B1G1F did 3 aa and 3 aaa along with my other shopping to try it out, reciept says: batteries 2 free -£14.00 then further down it says Buy one get one free -£10.50.

Went back for some more only managed to get 6 of each the second time as no more on shelf, also got fairy £1 B1G1F, also managed to get the 10 x 5p custard, 6 x 32p dolmio sauce and 6 x 20p fruit/jelly loads left on the shelf all had yellow SEL.

This was at 11.52 and 12.40 today.

Parazone was £1.15 B1G1F and Cillitbang toilet cleaner was £3.05 B1G1F bought them as use them anyway, surf all gone and no sign to say B1G1F just £8.99 SEL on empty shelf. HTH
