From reading all the posts it may work only where the sel is buy one get one free and not where it is buy one get 2 free. Can others who buy confirm which sel is showing please.

tried 2 stores in the leicester area and both just went thru at b1g2f
edit: worth adding the that in one store i only tried aaa because there were no aa ones left, so was possibly just working on aa in that store0 -
Mine worked on 6 aa and 6 aaa, SEL said B1G2F though...scuppers that theory then?:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0

Tesco St Stephens Extra marked up as bogof @ £3.50 picked up three AAs to test went through as buy 1 get 2 free, no other discount at the till but I think still a bargain as £3.50 for 24 batteries, ah well stocked up for remote batteries. Couldn't get there myself so sent daughter she said these were last three on the display.SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Thanks so much OP. Just got 6 x 8 pks of AA and the SEL said B1G2F. Luckily the friendly SA was working so I could go to her as we don't have any self-scans. She just smiled when my whole shop came to £2.04!0

My extra store had both SEL on display, B1G2F & BOGOF:rotfl: :rotfl:another store I visited just had BOGOF but I was too scared to try in case it didn't work and i had to actually PAY for them!!!:rotfl::TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
