Only BOGOF signs up...... bought 6 packs of AA discount says £14 saved?? no second discount
am I missing something?? why £14 saved if they went through bogof I should have only saved £10.500 -
The customer services person has to remove points manually, so if you are just refunded and they don't ask for your card to remove points they sho9uld still be on your account.
I'm guessing if you return something expensive and they suspect you're up to something they will dock the points (or the till will flash up and tell them to if it's over a certain amount??)?0 -
Worked for me at my local, not extra or express. 42 Packs bought, total cost of batteries before discount: £147, Total discount and glitch £171.5. So an extra £24.50 off rest of shopping. Thanks OP0

In my first shop this morning I bought three packs to test that this was going to work. It did and the batteries were free. With this in mind (and having forgotten about the extra money off for buying in sixes) I put 18 packs through the self scan with a little bit of shopping. Can you imagine the horror on my face when I went to pay and the total was -£9.00!! I rushed off and grabbed the nearest thing that I could to bring the total up (washing tablets), however by the time I got back to the till the sa pointed out that I had already paid for the shopping and handed me my receipt (for -£9.00). This actually turned out to be a void transaction which I found out when I got home. She then very kindly scanned the washing tablets and walked off, leaving me a nervous wreck and thinking "I don't actually want to pay for them!!" I made an excuse about it being the wrong flavour and went back to look at others on the shelves.
Anyway, on to the next T's having learned my lesson. Two more shops with 18 packs of batteries in each plus £10.50 off my shopping. Batteries were 18 x £3.50 = £63.00. Discounts were 'Batteries 2 Free -£42.00 and Buy 1 get 1 free -£31.50', total to pay = -£10.50.
This was all done before 9am this morning. Hope you all get to take advantage of this fab offer before it gets pulled. Its funny, haven't felt my heart beat so fast since the very early days of DTD!!!0 -

Right this has just worked in my local tesco (Extra)
Shelf label said buy one get 1 free. however it did batteries 2 free and buy one get 1 free. Should have cost 76.97 and cost me 3.47 as I purchased two other things! I got 18 in total.
I think the more you buy the more additional money you get off if that makes sense?
I went through self service and the guy noticed but I "know him" (im a regular) and he just laughed and said come back in the morning they will have restocked by then!
Well I have been to 4 stores (3 xpress 1 main store) today, 1 x petrol & popped inside, 2 x battery hunt & Surf hunt (yes slow off the blocks for that one)!!
2 express stores had buy 1 get 2 free -- you guessed it shelves empty ...
1 express store had buy 1 get 1 free - shelves full as you might expect ..
main tesco again had "buy 1 get 1 free" - I thought it was odd that the deal wasn't the same across the group ... but bought the 1 & 1 as still an excellent deal for extra long life AA.
(oh by the way sunshine Surf full price £8.99 bogof in ALL stores - so that ship might have sailed I thinki
Back to the batteries ....although shelf said BOGOF - should I have picked up 3 packs to get 1 & 2 free ... I am v confused ..
I don't normally post on this board, but have been reading recently and you guys get some fantastic bargains .... so hope you can give me a bif of guidance ...
