Brought 6 packs of AA's this morning in a Tesco Extra in south east and got them for nothing and 3.50 of my total other shopping (lunch)... was a happy bunny paying 1p for the lot!!!

None left now though, so may try another one at lunchtime... will keep you updated.

Just worked for me in an Extra store. Got:

6 x AAA
6 x AA

plus £7 worth of shopping to cover it. Went through SS till.

Did the same again, luckily different SA watching over the SS tills.

Packs of 8, extra long life, blue packet, barcodes as already reported.

Didn't work in Extra store, got 6, went through as buy 1 get 2 free.

All price labels had been taken down too.

DID NOT work in C**verhouse Cross store. Talbot Green store had no batteries, so someone had emptied the shelf or they had been removed by staff. All are extra stores..
