Nice glitch if you can find it but was thinking surely Tesco staff read these sort of forums and would probably amend their systems overnight!

I first tried with 6 packs of AA took of 3.50 off other shopping
Once confirmed went back for cough cough a few more, got my boys some nice toys for the party today !!
Don't think it works with the aaa though as I added 3 and didn't take off as much as I thought
Didn't have the guts to go in a 4th time and try the aaa on their own!!

Celebrate, did this just work for you in an Extra? Wondering what size store you originally tried, that didn't work.

So looks like its just certain stores, well my tumble dryer has just arrived, big decision is do I drag DD out of bed and bus to extra or wait until hubby comes home at 3.30pm and try then - if there's any left.

Although thinking about it probably didn't buy enough other shopping, so this may still work.

Problem for me was all of the batteries had security tag on them so grabbing 12 through self scan was a bit daft lol.

Will be taking them back lol. Was worth a shot.
