  • No nsd, BUT I have saved some money. After complaining to my phone company for wrong billing, I got 3 months free line rental. Finally attacked the filing cabinet and realised my car insurance, home insurance and mortgage were all coming up for renewal. Got car insurance premium for same price as this year, plus £75 cashback and 3 months free nreakdown. Home insurance for almost same premium plus £25 cash back, and changed mortgage from fixed rate to variable saving £87 per month. So I can get my boiler serviced now before winter. Feeling very mse and quite chuffed with myself. :) x

Sorry the round up is a bit early today :) I'm off to bed so anyone posting anything after this I will pick up on tomorrows round up :D

I tried really hard for today to be an NSD. I really did. But I needed (yes, really, although probably not today but still.....) a book from Amazon. And as I was on there I had a look around and, well, you get the picture :o

    Thanks Spoon. :kisses3:

I'll try not to wring anyone's neck :o but a rocket may be put up someone's backside if they don't get a move on!:rotfl:

I had an idea for a book this morning which I started thinking about ages ago, and have typed out a few ideas, it's a start! :)

Oh, and I work in the county you used to live in. ;)

    Lily x
    No probs Lily:)
Now that's an idea, a rocket would get them moving!!:rotfl:

Yay to the book, that's definitely a start, well done!:T

Small world, eh? Have to say I don't envy you that journey though!

Good afternoon all, another spendy day I'm afraid - but I did get a bargain. Couple of cardigans from the Sally Army charity shop costing £4.49 the two. Can't moan about that!
Amd there is still a fair bit of month left over to get the NSDs I'm aiming for.
    That's definitely a bargain, Nargle:D

I want to see if I can get some new lights for my newly painted conservatory, we're back in it tonight to eat our tea :T. Also want to see if I can get some material to match the colour scheme to cover our motley collection of chairs. Some I am going to paint cream to match the woodwork...going to be soooo smart once it is all finished!! :)

It's going to look fab, Keiss:T:T

I've had 1/10 NSD's so far (yesterday), really hoping I can get another few in next week! I know the weekend will be hard not to spend in and tomorrow will have to get petrol but I'm hoping that I can go in the week without spending. This is the first month I've attempted this, and I have to say it's really good having something to aim towards - even the days when I've had to spend it's definitely been a lot less than before!

Well done for your first NSD, money_honey, that's fab:T:T:T:T
A spend day today, and tomorrow and possibly Saturday, and then I'm gonna try for 4 in a row.:D
That's much better, Frodo, I'm liking the positive thinking:D

Well at least you tried, LMH, that's the main thing. You'll get there x

I've just remembered I forgot to report my NSD yesterday:o.

I'm up to no 7as of yesterday. Somehow I managed 7 in-a-row.... it'll never happen again so I'm going to celebrate it now:j:j:j:j:j:j

Back to normal today, spends again and I'll have to spend tomorrow as well, drat!!:(

'night everyone, it's wiggle day tomorrow:D:D:D

    Good morning all!

Hoping for another NSD today. I'm off to Zumba this morning but other than that I have no plans to go anywhere that involves spending money. I have a couple of photos to pick up from A$DA, but they're paid for.
OH had a good birthday despite his "wobbly" the other day. My M&D came up last night and my sis and nieces made a big fuss of him -more than his own brother/son/nieces/ grandchildren, from whom we heard a BIG FAT ZERO:mad:, I'm so Peed Off with them as we never miss their birthdays etc and spend/budget quite a reasonable amount of money on them. A re-assessment is required there methinks;) Sorry for the rant!

    th_Congratulations.gif SPOON on you 7-in-a-row!:T

    Have a lovely day all!

Got NSD no 3 yesterday! :D

We watched Water for Elephants round my mum's last night. I'm not mad keen on Robert Pattinson, but he's grown on me after that. Really liked it. :)
    No probs Lily:)

It's only over the border in Colchester, so not too bad really. :)

Well done on your seven in a row! :T

How annoying Jinty! At least he still had a good birthday though. :) I'd definitely rethink what you spend on them in future!

    Have a good day everyone!
