The last few minutes were a great disappointment, but they should have stopped the try-scorer at least three times, so it's their own fault they lost I'm afraid to say!
We didn't get to the Uni Open Day yesterday, DS2 was feeling rubbish, and I had a really bad headache (nothing to do with the match!), so didn't have the inclination or energy to persuade him it would be good to go. Instead we had a bit of a lazy day, though I washed all the inside windows of the conservatory later on in the afternoon when the headache eased.
The show on Saturday was wonderful, the warmest I have known it to be at the Autumn Show! As a result it was very busy, but I had a great time. I got a few plants and bulbs as well as some xmas presents, and I even had money left in my purse when I got home!
I have been spending today, including getting some new wall lights for the conservatory...they look pretty good and will get DH to wire them in tonight. Also got a floor lamp at 60% off :j My dad has a couple of these and I was realy hankering after them, but felt they were too expensive, so really pleased with my buy today
As for NSDs, well I picked up one yesterday, so up to 17 NSDs now, only one left to go to my first target! :j I was going to up my target, but not sure how many more NSDs I will be picking up this week. DS1 is back to Uni on Thursday, so I can see a few "essentials" shopping trips happening before he goes!!
Right, off to finish sewing up a sock for my dad, that's the pair knitted, so I can send them off for his birthday next week...good grief, I may be on time this year!! :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone xx
