Hello there,
Just wanting a second opinion really - I've sold a laptop on Ebay and the winner is based in Bulgaria. I've been searching for the cheaspest postage and that seems to be DHL at £24. I wondered if anyone knew of any cheaper before I go ahead? Or hasany idea how much Royal Mail would cost?
Thanks in advance

wave bye bye to your laptop AND your moneyEx forum ambassador

You are both clueless. One member here makes a living selling laptops all over the world. Just keep selling your old t shirts.
Leave someone who knows what they are talking about to give advice.0 -

use a courier,not RM0 -
I agree. Over £150 in value requires a signature online. Your £24 quote looks good to me. I believe Hammyman uses parcelmonkey for his foreign sales.0

I agree not to use RM as none of their international services guarantee a signature. £24 is a good price but does that include insurance? Some cover is included but check the small print for exclusions as carriers often refuse to insure lots of things. Some will not cover second hand items for instance which might be relevant in this case.0

Thanks all for your responses - hopefully its not a scam
The laptop is at my Mum and Dad's at the minute and doesn't register on their scales, but I do know that it's 35cm by 27cm by 0.5cm deep.
I'm going round tomorrow and my Dad is getting his fishing scales out to weigh for me so should know better then.
I'd prefer some sort of insurance I think just in case. I'll check out parcel monkey!0 -
I'm hoping it's not more than £25 as I only charged him that0
