If I keep seeing the message if I just let it install won't it solve the problem? Thanks for all your help, you have been very patient with me.

You can try it but I'm not sure it will work - but it won't harm anything to try. Do you have the disk that came with your printer?

Ok have restarted and that box didn't come up, Avast did a scan of that file, so it should be ok now??
